Awareness is Carrie Bertrand's second book. Her first book, Living the Promises, shared her personal journey in finding God. With each book, she has had the heart and mind of reaching and helping people. Because Awareness has developed into an even deeper meaning for her, coupled with her passion for helping others, she has opened the Believers Business Center. 

Awareness Dedication:

This book is dedicated to the sufferers of Morgellons Disease, Fibromyalgia and to those who suffer with the many symptoms and illnesses associated with them. I pray that many will find faith, strength, and hope through the pages within.

Awareness

As we all know, traumatic experiences can change lives forever. They can set you on a path to become a whole new person. They can show you who your friends and loved ones really are. The strong will survive and be better and wiser because of them. Mine started one day with strange fibers protruding out of my skin. 

Becoming scared for my daughter's life and my own set me on a desperate search for answers. Sixteen years later, I learned that the Center for Disease Control (C.D.C.) has a name for those bizarre fibers, and that hundreds of thousands of other families are suffering from this same disease; and its many symptoms. 

Within the shadows of my story could be many hidden connections and answers to the illnesses that countless people around us are dealing with ever day. As my own shocking account of first hand Morgellons unfolds - with its documented evidence - you will be gripped by the horrifying encounters one faces with the fibers from Morgellons disease. You will be encouraged through my desperate search, which led me to God. You will be disturbed by the lack of concern and or answers people are receiving from the medical professionals and our government agencies. Throughout my experience, this has been the most disturbing element through it all. 

They now call it Morgellons... 16 years ago I called it the skin disease from hell. My account could hold answers for you or perhaps your loved ones.

Living The Promises
Does your spiritual search leave you with a longing desire, like there should be more? God's word is not just a book of sound, good sayings, nor of broken promises. Someone's wrong teaching or your lack of understanding has limited God in your life. If you are not receiving the over nine hundred promises God made to you. God made His word to be clear and helpful; man has complicated it.

If God or the Bible is the least bit confusing to you, that could change after you read this book.  I do not have your answers, but God does. This book is written to show you how to find God's answers so you can apply them in your life. Many things have been passed down through teachings and our traditions that have limited us in the power we have through Christ as individual children of God. God's word is our personal, individual, letter of love from our Father; it is full of promises and power.  It is not religious or denominational. It's no wonder so many are confused, defeated, or walking away.

From learning to read God's word as he said it, you will see the power and promises and the answers to even the smallest things in life that have been given to you from God. Using God's words, this book will introduce you to God your Father in a simple way so that you will never by choice be without Him again.

A big question in the Chrsitian world today is, "How do we know who or what is right?"

Only God is.

The Bible says, "God is not the author of confusion."

God said "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge."

This book will instruct you on how to examine and comprehend God and His words, using the King James Bible, and see his deep rooted simple truths which most are overlooking. Most of all it will show you the light of God's glorious gospel and how to live the more abundant life He has promised you.
